About: Digital world, Community relationships, cultural value
These works are a visual diary recording my own experience of everyday happenings in Social media. Social media particularly Facebook is a major political forum in Ethiopia. The political discourses between elites are affecting the digital relationship among individuals. The artwork analyzes the changes in cultural identity and community relationships in the faces of a digital world. The visual abstract consists of information from my personal archives collected from social media platforms. My practice also investigates the changes in social and cultural values.
